RCA at Alabama Firearms Academy Nov. 11, 2024

Last night, I had the chance to compete in the Alabama Firearms Academy USPSA match, shooting PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine). I’ll be honest—I’m still getting the hang of it! Moving to a rifle has been a new experience, and while there’s definitely a learning curve, I'm finding my rhythm with each match. I ran our soon-to-be-released 9mm 115-grain PCC "Range" ammo through my carbine, and it didn’t miss a beat—no malfunctions and super flat shooting. It’s awesome seeing our product perform as intended when it counts!

What made the night even better was getting feedback from other shooters who tried Rocket City Ammunition for the first time. Over the weekend, a few people placed orders on the website, and I brought their ammo to the match for them. They ran our 9mm 124-grain Plated "Range" product, which is available now, and the response was fantastic. One of the big takeaways? They noticed it was noticeably softer shooting than their usual ammo, which is exactly the kind of experience we want RCA shooters to have—control, comfort, and consistency.

Hearing that positive feedback makes all the effort worth it. I love seeing our ammo not just perform well but enhance the shooting experience for others. If you’re looking for reliable, smooth ammo that’s got that soft-shooting feel, check out the 124-grain Plated "Range" line, available now. And stay tuned for the PCC version—it’s designed to make every shot feel great, whether you’re competing or just spending some time at the range.
